4.0mm width diamond, Platinum ring.
Featuring a stunning Rose-cut white diamond with a cut-down setting. This ring has been entirely handmade as opposed to cast] by our experienced mounter here in London, this means that every ring is unique.
Rose-cut diamonds are an historical cut dating back to the 1400s, they have a different shape to the more usual modern cut diamond, flat on the bottom with a faceted dome on the top resembles an opening rosebud
The type of setting is 'cut-down' which a very old way to set diamonds, the small claws are cut away from the setting instead of being added to the setting afterwards, this makes a very strong and hard wearing mount and also adds to its historical appearance.
Band width: 1.0mm
This diamond has been certified as 'mounted' in a ring as opposed to loose.
