In traditional Japan during the 17th - 19th Edo period, arrows were traditionally given as wedding gifts to symbolise protection and the safeguarding of the household, to ward off misfortune and attract good luck.
A 'flat court' ring is flat on the outside and slightly curved on the inside to give the most comfortable fit.
9ct white gold is as bright as silver with a slightly warmer colour due to the gold content.
